The beauty about working for Glamourbox full-time and writing for my blog is that I’m exposed to beauty and skincare products on a daily basis. Because of this, I’m able to discover new brands, niche brands, and brands that are worth investing.

Part of this is discovering miraculous products like L’Oreal’s Revitalift Magic Blur, which was launched last Tuesday in Neo Day Spa. Guests were able to experience the product firsthand, care of a special L’Oreal Facial that incorporated the entire Revitalift franchise.

It’s amazing! I got a couple of compliments right after that I looked so fresh.

Magic Blur is made with Opti-Blur technology and contains Pro-Retinol A that visibly reduces the appearance of fine lines, large pores, rough skin, and dullness. It temporarily blurs these imperfections within seconds of applying and after continuous and regular use, it eventually gets rid of them.

According to Liz of Project Vanity, blur creams are quickly becoming a trend and what’s nice about Magic Blur is that it acts like a primer already. So if you regularly apply makeup, this can serve as your first base! What’s also becoming a trend is the emergence of foundations and concealers with lighter consistencies and that feel weightless on the skin. This is great for Filipinas who don’t like the sticky, heavy feeling of foundation or who have oily skin! It’s evident in Pixi’s Flawless Beauty Primer and Flawless and Poreless Translucent Primer, and even POP Beauty’s CC Cream.

It’s amazing how the technology of beauty and skincare has grown and evolved through the years. Definitely exciting times for beauty junkies like us at the Glamourbox HQ!
