Multi-hyphenate “Wonder Woman” and Managing Director of boutique agency ARC Public RelationsJenny Yrasuegui talks about her passion for life, sports, her secret beauty regimen, plus her new business venture, Your Local.

1. You are a PR practitioner, sports and travel enthusiast, entrepreneur, and now restaurateur. Which role do you find the most exciting?

It’s hard for me to choose which role is most exciting. To me, everything that I do is exciting. I am very much involved with businesses and hobbies that I am passionate about, and I am always excited about everything that I do. I love being an entrepreneur as much as being an athlete and being a traveler. I guess one thing they all have in common is that in each of these roles, I am able to grow and learn.

2. Tell us about Your Local, how did it start and what was the idea behind it.

Your Local is a community restaurant inspired by Legaspi and the diversity of its residents. It’s a place where locals and expats can get together, enjoy a meal and good conversation. Your Local is all about personal service where everyone knows your name and you aren’t just a customer but a friend.

It all started with invite by our Creative Director, Nicco Santos, to invest in a restaurant. He was cooking in my house for a dinner that we planned with friends and he just asked if I wanted to be part of his new venture. When he explained the concept and what his vision was, I was blown away. I always dreamt of having a restaurant, and I thought this was my chance to fulfill that dream.

3. As a very busy multi-hyphenate, what do you do to de-stress?

I find exercising to be very relaxing 🙂 I also get massages regularly. And I love visiting JuRo Salon to get my hair cut and treatments. I am actually a salon-freak! I love manis and pedis and getting my face threaded, though I wish I had more time to visit the salons more often. Oh, and I also love to travel out of Manila just to get away from it all.

4. What does your daily beauty regimen look like?

I’m very low maintenance. At night, I wash my face with Pond’s facial soap, and I use a medicine on my face which my dermatologist Sherwin Llego prescribed for me to use. After that I sometimes put on Pond’s moisturising cream. That’s pretty much it! One thing is for sure, I make it a points to see my derma regularly.

9. Where is your summer destination this year and what are you bringing to this trip?

Who knows? 😀 I haven’t had set plans for summer, but I am pretty sure to leave the country for somewhere. I’m still checking my options, but I would love to go to Art Basel in HK sometime in May. Also, I’m pretty sure I’ll be heading to a beach this summer, too, and definitely bring my Vania Romoff swimsuits and cover ups, sunblock, laptop (can never go anywhere without this), tinted moisturiser and lip balm

10. One word that best describes you?

Resilient 🙂
