I am a carefree kind of girl, and this usually reflects in my scent choices as I prefer fruity-floral combos that remind me of summer and sunshine. Summer (hot weather in particular) tends to intensify the scent so it’s recommended to go lighter on the application and choose lighter scents in general.

However during the cooler months, I find myself gravitating towards deeper and more perfume-y options. I think because it’s officially cozy season, we need to amp up our scents of choice to something that’s heavier and more long-lasting.

Here are a few of my top picks:

1. Laura Mercier Almond Coconut Milk Souffle Body Creme – Slather on this luxurious creme and indulge in the intoxicating scent of almond and vanilla.

2. Avon Only Imagine – Have you seen a prettier perfume bottle? The flouncy tulle just spells “holiday parties” and the fruit floral scent is perfect (and special enough) for dates with your significant other.

3. Alice Blue Berry Crumble Candle – Not really a fragrance that you can apply or spritz, but I decided to include it nonetheless. Alice Blue is a proud Pinoy brand created by two environmentalists. The soy-based candles are a mainstay in our household and though my favorite scent would be Peppermint (but of course!), the holidays calls for something more festive so we always switch to Berry Crumble. Why, even Chuvaness is a fan!
