I read a lot of Garance Doré to know that a trip to Paris won’t be complete without a visit to the French pharmacy. Early this year, I discovered the French “no water” skincare through Tin Dychiao (who discovered it through Garance Doré!) and had incorporated it in my skincare regimen. I know, no water seems ridiculous! But it means using thermal spring water (like Avène) instead of tap water which does wonders on your skin, specially if you have highly sensitive skin like mine.

Anyhoo, on my last day in Paris, I went to the pharmacy at Odéon near Les éditeurs at 6 Arr. With her un petit peu English, a French attendant was kind enough to help me find the right products to bring home. (A lot of people say the French are rude, but surprisingly the ones I came across with were really nice!)

Here is a rundown of my French Pharmacie loot:

1. Caudalie Divine Oil
-Love the floral scent and posh packaging! Curious to try if it is indeed divine!

2. Bioderma Créaline H2O
-Fantastic makeup remover! I am currently using the Créaline Lait (Milk) and I am in love with it. The H2O is the more popular one and I thought of trying it.

3.La Roche-Posay Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser
-Rinse-free makeup remover perfect for sensitive skin, just like Bioderma. I’d like to test this and compare it with Bioderma Créaline Lait.

4. Nuxe Crèam Fraîche de Beauté
-Moisturizer for sensitive skin. I was planning to get the Nuxe oil, until the attendant convinced me that this is a great moisturizer that I must try.

5. Ducray Ictyane HD Emolient Cream
-Perfect for dry skin. Though my skin isn’t dry, I do get dry patches on my skin when I travel. Plus I read about it in GD’s entry on her derma’s recommended basics!
